To put it bluntly, there are two schools of philosophy: one assumes that knowledge comes from thinking, and the other believes that experience is the beginning point of knowledge. Of course, as if for Yin and Yang, both of them work together to "synthesis". Although I learn a lot from books, it is sometimes natural that you never know what you're missing unless you feel it.

Anyway, let me cut to the main story. We went on horseback riding this morning. Four hours' trip from Saqsaywaman (a fortress of the Inca Empire) via Q'enqo (an Inca temple for Sun-worship) to Puka Pukara. I'd like to upload a couple of pictures only if I have an access to the computer (Darn!)

First of all, I had never ridden horseback before. Seriously. Yeah, I once tried a pony in Cheju Island, but there was a personal guide holding the rein for me, and the ground was as flat as Akiha's breasts [hey hey]. This time, what I rode on was a full-grown horse named Chiriqui (I'm not sure if I got it right), and geez it was exciting. :D My brother was leading at the front, and I was following behind. Of course, I was being cautious for the first five or six minutes--my fear wore down quickly, though. The horse was walking slowly, the path flat, and the weather nice.

OK, now you wonder "what did you learn through experience?" Tell you what, in the third volume of Dragon Raja, there is a horse vs. horse-turned-bull race, and at the end, Guilsian and Sanson get knocked out, which I never understood why. Hey, you guys are not even walking. -_-;; Now I see. OTL

After the first ten minutes of a heavenly journey, my party slipped through a bush to a mountain path. Then, all the hell broke loose. My butt was humping (I can't find a better expression -_-) up and down on the horseback, got so sore that I was seriously considering to fall off from that GODDAMN horse, just to end the pain T_T, and still hurts. [...] (The reason why Victorian ladies were so fond of horse-riding must be, based on my prejudice -_-;;, that it gave them a sensual pleasure OTL) Of course, I tried to lift up my bottom to assuage some pain, but rubbing on the balls was obviously more painful than on the butt, if you know what I mean--I don't expect girls to symphasize with me at all.

The worst part was, when the guide (his name was Fred) whistled, the horse started galloping--all I could do was hold onto the rein and pray God to stay on. OTL I'm sure this guy must have been a sadist, and in doing so, he satisfied his urge (read as ORGY -_-+).

The trip was fun. Loved seeing mountains (hey, I'm from Panama, a flat land -_-;;), got some crazy pictures that I am going to post asap, and enjoyed the morning. I'd like to add some more details and lessons [...], but that black beer I just drank with lunch (a backed trout) gives me a headache now. Hope to see you guys soon. BRB. :D
